GAME GUIDE
Satchel & Steel skill timing: warnings and battle reviews
Understand automatic attacks, manual skills and enemy warnings, then use battle reviews to improve your equipment plan.
Automatic attacks still leave decisions to you
Equipment acts automatically on its own rhythm. Rune skills and the ultimate let you intervene. On desktop, Q uses the rune and Space releases a ready skill; mobile uses on-screen buttons.
Cooldowns and energy limit availability. Check the control’s state before deciding whether to hold a skill for the next enemy action.
Respond to the current enemy warning
Enemies may rush, fortify, drain health or prepare a heavy hit. Interrupt conditions and windows differ. Follow the current warning rather than assuming every skill always interrupts.
If the warning specifies a window before impact, casting too early can miss it. Armor and healing can also improve survival; not every attack needs to be interrupted.
Start a review with equipment participation
Open the review after battle to inspect equipment contributions, links, interrupts and the log. First check that key equipment was in the backpack, then whether its expected effects triggered.
Damage alone does not describe a build: armor, healing and links also affect the outcome. Change one important placement or item at a time to understand what helped.
